Phillips Cellars was established 1979 as a family owned company operated by the Phillips family. The Phillips family are experienced in wine making and conduct regular wine appreciation courses.

Phillips Cellars and Regional Wine Centre is situated in Shepparton in the Goulburn Valley, 2 hours drive from Melbourne.

For 35 years the Phillips family owned and operated the Hotel Australia in central Shepparton, then in 1979 we purchased a property known as the Goulburn Valley Winery, situated in Vaughan Street Shepparton. It was here that we made wine until 1990 and it is where our business still is today.

We pride ourselves on our knowledge of winemaking, and wines, we conduct wine appreciation courses and are members of various wine and food clubs. We have always appreciated the quality of the grapes grown in this area, which determines the final result of the wines.

In 2004 we approached many of the wineries in the region with the idea of displaying their wines in their own stand at our store. This project has proved successful and we now have 52 wineries involved.

The wines are from Central Victoria and cover an area from Echuca to Rutherglen and from Rutherglen up to Seymour.

You can purchase the unique wines of this area through our online system and have them delivered direct to your door or if you are in the area you could drop in for a tasting. We have 2 wineries featured each week.
